Now, for the first pointless journal entry since easter! 8D
I just got back a few days ago from holiday with my dad (and his partner and my brother of course!) in scotland And the week before that I was in denmark with my mother, brother, and my stepdad and the rest of his family, which was great because they're all pretty much insane!
On Friday we went out on a boat trip to some smaller islands (we were staying on Mull) and we were amazingly lucky with the amount of wildlife we saw!
And with the exception of a few species of gull, it was all creatures I had never seen before! AND ones that I have very much wanted to see, like basking sharks! One actually swam so close to the boat you could see inside its mouth, it was amazing, I feel so lucky (and honoured!) to have seen something like that!
We saw a minke whale too, which was also spectacular!
For anyone who doesn't know (though anyone reading this will probably know anyway >_< ) I love anything that inhabits water, and the water itself of course!
I know that last sentence sounds a bit stupid, and it is an awful understatement, but I'm not about to start getting as serious about such things on DA journal as I do in real life.
I got stung by a jellyfish while in Denmark again as well, not that I mind though, it doesn't hurt much worse than nettle stings.
